Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the hydek app, the hydek.io website and the related server features (the “Service”) provided by Nexframe (넥스프레임, “we”).

1. The Service

hydek is an AI work assistant that runs on your computer. The AI you choose (ChatGPT, Claude or hydek bot) uses the tools hydek provides to carry out work such as content production step by step, and you review the results and decide whether to publish them.

  • hydek publishes or saves to an outside service only after you approve it.
  • We may change features to improve the Service. We tell you in advance about changes that matter to you.

2. Generative AI notice

  • The Service operates on generative artificial intelligence. hydek bot is generative AI that we provide. ChatGPT and Claude are generative AI services you connect with your own accounts.
  • Results the Service produces, such as text, captions, summaries and video edit plans, are generated by generative AI, and the app labels them as such. This notice is given under Article 31 of the Korean Framework Act on the Development of Artificial Intelligence and the Establishment of Trust.
  • AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Check any factual claims before you use the output, and review it before you publish.
  • We may change the models and processing providers behind hydek bot to keep quality and availability.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be 19 or older to use the Service. You sign up with a Google account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account and devices secure.
  • You may not transfer, lend or share your account.

4. Pricing and payment

  • The paid plan costs US$13 per month (₩19,000 when paying in Korean won) and includes US$6 of credits each month. There is no free trial.
  • When the included credits run out, you can buy credit packs (US$10 or US$30).
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payments, tax, receipts and refunds. The Paddle Buyer Terms also apply.
  • Taxes such as VAT may be added to the listed price. The final amount is shown at checkout.
  • Your subscription renews every month on the same day until you cancel. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

5. Credits

  • Credits pay for custom tool building, server runs, cloud speech recognition and hydek bot. Running tools on your own computer does not use credits.
  • Credits are deducted per task. The app shows the expected credits before a task and never goes over the per-task limit you set.
  • We do not charge credits for tasks that fail because of our system errors.
  • Credits can be used only inside hydek, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • You can withdraw from a credit pack purchase within 7 days of buying it, and we refund the credits you have not used (Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Article 17(2)(5), proviso).

6. Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

7. Your content and responsibilities

  • You keep the rights to the videos, text and files you put into hydek and to the results you make with it. We process them only as needed to provide the Service.
  • Use only content that you own or have permission to use.
  • When you use outside services such as YouTube, follow their terms and policies. By using hydek’s YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
  • We recommend that you do not put sensitive information, such as financial or medical information or national ID numbers, into tasks.

8. Prohibited use

You must not:

  • create or publish illegal content or child sexual abuse material
  • infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights
  • spam, mass-publish the same content, or artificially inflate views or engagement
  • use the Service to get around the terms or technical limits of outside services
  • attack or disrupt the Service or other people’s systems
  • break the law

9. hydek bot restrictions

hydek bot is offered only as a feature of the hydek app and is not offered as an API. When you use hydek bot, you must not:

  • call hydek’s server endpoints from outside the app, extract the app’s tokens, or access the Service with scripts or bots
  • attempt jailbreaks or prompt injection attacks, or red-team the Service without our permission
  • use the output to train competing AI models
  • reverse engineer the Service or the models
  • use it for decisions that seriously affect people’s life, safety or rights, such as medical diagnosis, legal judgments, credit scoring, weapons or control of critical infrastructure
  • break the usage policies of the model providers we use

If we find a breach of sections 7 to 9, we may suspend the Service or hydek bot after notice, or first suspend and then notify you in urgent cases.

10. Outside AI services

ChatGPT and Claude are services of their own companies. You sign in with your own account, and their terms, fees and usage policies apply, including the OpenAI Usage Policies and the Anthropic Usage Policy. We never receive or store your sign-in details for these services.

11. Interruptions

We may suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, replacement, outages or changes in outside services. When we can, we tell you in advance.

12. Limitation of liability

Unless we act intentionally or with gross negligence, we are not liable for:

  • loss caused by content you approved and published
  • loss caused by AI output you used without checking it
  • loss caused by outages or policy changes of outside services (YouTube, Google, AI services and others)
  • loss caused by events beyond our control

13. Cancellation

You can delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing support@hydek.io. We then handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We post changes on this website at least 7 days before they take effect. For changes that are unfavorable to you, we give 30 days’ notice and also email you. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
